California Custom Sounds was founded in 2006 by industry veterans Zack Knoop and Rocky Palmer with a vision of car stereo shop like Dayton had never experienced before. For the first 6 months, the two founders ran the entire operation by themselves, with help from a few close friends. This meant many long hours handling sales, answering phones, and doing installs during the day then taking care of administrative responsibilities at night. All the hard work paid off. In the years since its inception, California Custom Sounds has grown exponentially. We have recruited some of the finest professionals in our industry. We have expanded our space and created a new Dealership Services Division. We have been awarded nationwide fleet projects as well as nationally recognized awards. It is our ongoing mission to provide mobile technology products and services with a level of quality, expertise, and service superior to our competitors. Ok, so the long hours haven’t gone away completely, but we have a great time doing what we love. There are many places to buy mobile electronics today. It is our goal to not just “get the sale”, but to earn you as a friend and a fan of our company for life.
